Scholarships

The Center for America’s Veterans Scholarships are provided by alumni and friends of Mississippi State University. These scholarships are to assist student veterans, service-members and dependents enrolled at Mississippi State University with any un-met financial needs while attending school.

Scholarship applications for the 2024-2025 academic school year opens on October 1, 2024. To be considered for the Center for America’s Veterans scholarships, you will sign in to your MyState portal, click on the scholarship tab, and fill out the general scholarship application along with the supplemental question pertaining to military dependents/service member. Once the application is submitted, you will automatically be placed in the application pool for consideration based on eligibility. The scholarship priority deadline is March 1st, but scholarship applications submitted after the deadline will be considered and awarded based on available funding.

How to Apply: Sign into your MyState account > select the students tab > under "Financial Aid and Scholarships", select "Submit/Revise (AY) General Scholarship Application" > Sign in and complete the General Application. Students eligible for any scholarships listed below, will be prompted to complete an extended portion of the application.

Once the entire application has been completed and submitted, students will be automatically applied to the scholarships for which they are eligible.

Mississippi State University scholarships can be used in connection with GI Bill benefits.
