Background
In December 2013, Dr. Robert Hester and his siblings established the Leslie and Margaret Hester Endowed Scholarship and the Leslie and Margaret Hester Annual Scholarship, in the G.V. “Sonny” Montgomery Center for America’s Veterans.
Criteria
Candidates for the Leslie and Margaret Hester Annual Scholarship must meet the following criteria:
- Be a full-time undergraduate, military veteran student in the Bagley College of Engineering at Mississippi State University.
- Have demonstrated recor of academic achievement, with at least a 3.0 cumulative high school GPA (if an entering freshman) or at least a 3.0 cumulative college GPA, based on a 4.0 scale.
