Background
In March of 2018, Brian and Angie Hutson established the Bobby N. Hutson Endowed Scholarship in the G.V. "Sonny" Montgomery Center for America's Veterans. This commitment is made in honor of Brian's father, Lieutenant Colonel (ret) Bobby N. Hutson. LTC Hutson retried after serving more than 40 years in the United States military service.
Criteria
Candidates for the Bobby N. Hutson Endowed Scholarship must meet the following criteria:
- Be an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. military armed service, active service member, or a member of the Mississippi National Guard.
- Be a full-time student at Mississippi State University.
- Have and maintain a 3.0GPA on a 4.0 scale.
